The internship experience allows students to apply in practice what they have learned in the program at a mental health facility of their choice, with adequate on-site supervision.
Interns are required to accumulate 750 clock hours of experience (6 credit hours) over a period of at least two semesters. In addition, interns also meet as a group once per week with the Avila internship supervisors to review progress.
