Courses for Teaching Certification

Liberal arts and content area course requirements vary depending on the certification area. Upon acceptance to the Graduate Initial Certification program, each student will receive an official transcript evaluation. This evaluation indicates the courses required for completion of the initial certification.

ED 581 Health and Safety Issues in Schools-must be taken prior to ED 595/596, available in the fall and spring semesters

ED 593 Teacher Productivity and Technology (must be taken with ED 594 and ED 595/596)

ED 594 Final Clinical Experience/Internship Seminar (must be taken with ED 593 and ED 595/596)

ED 595/596 Final Clinical Experience/Internship-All coursework must be completed prior to enrollment in this course. Available fall and spring semesters only (must be taken with ED 593 and ED 594)
