The Pavilion

In an effort to better serve our students and local community, Avila has renovated the competition court in the existing Mabee fieldhouse, and will begin construction this spring on The Pavilion, featuring another full size court, and nearly doubling the space available for formal and informal sports. The 8,000 square foot addition will provide much-needed space for intramural sports, wellness activities, Avila's Sports Science program and increased practice space for varsity athletics. Avila will be able to offer the surrounding community a place to host athletics and social events, building our name in the Kansas City market. With the renovation and addition, Avila will be better equipped to serve the whole person - focusing on mind, body and spirit.
