Completed in Fall 2007, the McCullough Family Courtyard is named in honor of the family of Thomas McCullough, long time supporter and recent past member of the Avila Board of Trustees. It bears the shape of the Avila seal of three interlocking circles. Located in the center of the courtyard is a fire pit for students to use at gatherings. It also features fixed benches and plantings.
