Through your support, Avila University now has a suite-style residence hall,
a new gathering place for students with a fire pit center and much more.
As our University grows, our needs also grow.
Plans for the near future:
» Jeanne Hamilton Olofson Plaza - A new front door to welcome future
students, family and our community.
» Avila Art Gallery - With a new location, larger space and an outside
gathering area, this is sure to attract a bigger audience.
Recent Improvements:
» Jeanne Collins Thompson Residence Hall - Features sixteen, four- person suites, with each suite containing four individual bedrooms, a common living room area, a kitchen, and two bathrooms.
» McCullough Family Courtyard - It bears the shape of the Avila seal with three interlocking circles. Located in the center of the courtyard is a fire pit to use at gatherings.
» Nursing Expansion / Health Sciences Suite - The Health Sciences
Suite includes a 59-seat smart classroom used primarily by the School
of Nursing. The nursing laboratory has also been renovated with more
beds and equipment.
» Other Projects Around Campus - A wellness room, outdoor plaza in
front of Whitfield, new parking lot and more.
