Campus Safety

Campus Safety provides safety to all Avila faculty, staff and students 24/7/365. It can be reached directly at 816.985.6079. It also provides telephone services and all mail throughout the campus. Campus Safety is located in lower Whitfield Center. Download an informational flyer.

IDs and Parking Permits

IDs and parking permits are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. or by appointment.

Faculty, staff and students need to bring their ID # and car information (including license tag, make, model, color and vehicle year).
apply for parkingThe first ID and parking pass are FREE.
It will cost $20 to replace an ID and $5 to replace a parking permit.

Temporary tags can be obtained for cars that are going to be parked on campus temporarily.

Parking tickets are issued to anyone that is not parked in the appropriate parking space on campus.

Campus Safety is responsible for:

Distributing parking permits & student IDs

Issuing parking tickets

Locking and unlocking buildings

Issuing keys

Monitoring the alarm system

Updating the phone list

 

Maintaining the "safe walk" program to walk individuals to and from their vehicles when requested

Assisting the University with crime reporting, theft or vandalism

Delivering copy paper
