Campus Projects - Whitfield Lobby
Community means more to Avila than just a group of people; it means building up our students, faculty and staff, fostering life-long relationships, and attending to the needs of our Avila "family". With the renovation of the Whitfield lobby, we will create a Student Commons area. With this student commons area:
- Students will have a relaxed place for study groups to meet,
- the University will be able to include more students in new campus life activities,
- Adult degree-seeking students will feel more included in campus activities and a place to enjoy evening meals together, and
- Outside groups will feel like a welcomed part of the Avila community.
