    Comments or Questions?

    • Q. Why March 13th? This doesn’t seem like enough time to form a team.
    • A. You have an entire month! Also, it gives us (DND planners) enough time to communicate with volunteer coordinators at service sites around Kansas City.

    • Q. I want to be a team captain but don’t have an exact number of people that will be on my team. What should I do?
    • A. Just give us your best guess. Julie will be communicating with you frequently with reminders and updates.

    • Q. What kind of work will we be doing?
    • A. The work site you are assigned to is based on your personal interest or the interest of your team. Work varies from organizing food pantries, serving food to people in need, yard work, home-repair, cleaning, sorting recycling, etc. We will be sure to communicate with you as best as we can.

    • Q. Can I bring my kids?
    • A. YES! We will just need to communicate closely on the type of work your family will be able to do together, so that you’re assigned appropriately.

    • Q. Where and when do I get my free shirt???
    • A. Shirts will be available for pick up the week leading up to Dear Neighbor Day (between April 5-10) in Marian Center.
