Avila Business Students post a Global Top 100 Performance!
December 2013
Avila senior business students recently earned a Global Top 100 ranking for their simulation company's Overall Score performance of the week (11/25/13-12/1/13)!

In the Business Strategy Game (BSG), student groups team manage an athletic footwear company that produces and markets both branded and private-label footwear and competes head-to-head against footwear companies run by other class teams in a simulated global marketplace.  Each team is responsible for assessing market conditions, determining strategic and tactical courses of action for all functional areas of the business.

The Business Strategy Game is an integral part of the business capstone course and is used along with the ETS Field test for School of Business assessment purposes.   We are quite proud of our students for such an excellent performance — one that reflects well on them and the caliber of instruction that they are receiving at Avila University.

Congratulations to team members Charles Jones and Joe Scott and Professor Daniel George!
