Ten
Eyck Named Volleyball 2nd Team All Conference
The
Avila University Eagle Volleyball team raised over $300 for the
fight against breast cancer, Tuesday night when they hosted Mid-America
Nazarene in their annual “Dig for the Cure” match. The volleyball
team will donate the money to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The
Komen Foundation is the world's largest grassroots network
of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives,
empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science
to find the cures. Thanks to money and awareness raising events
like Avila University's “Dig for the Cure” volleyball match, the
Komen Foundation has invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill their
promise, to become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated
to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
The
Eagle Volleyball team would like to thank you for your support
and assisting to raise breast cancer awareness throughout Avila
University and the Kansas City community.
Nice
