Coach Sal Badali enters his first season on the Eagle coaching staff and will be working specifically with the Strength and Conditioning Program of the Eagles. Badali graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion in May of 2012. Badali is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Physical Education at the University of Central Missouri. Badali has also received a USAW certification and is currently competing in Olympic Weight Lifting.
Badali has competed in numerous Strongman Competitions throughout his young lifting career. He was named the 2011 Missouri's Strongest Man and placed 15th at the 2011 North American Strongman Nationals. He holds the Teenage Log Press Record at 330lbs and at 17 years of age he bench pressed 400lbs at a NASA power-lifting event.
Badali attended Lee's Summit West High School and graduated in 2008. While at West he set numerous weight lifting records that still hold today. Sal was also the starting Left Guard on the 2008 State Championship Football Team.
