
Avila Cheer Places 1st at UCA College Nationals!

Kansas City, MO - Avila University Cheer won their first National Championship when they competed on January 19th at UCA College Nationals in Orlando, FL. They competed in the Open All Girl Division against 9 other Division III, NAIA and Junior College Semi-Finalists to take home the gold! After placing a harder skill into their routine for Finals, the cheerleaders beat out their competition and took home the program’s first National Championship title. In previous years, the team had only reached as high as 4th place, so this win is definitely the greatest achievement for this program.

What to Wear: All Participants should wear a white or purple shirt with black shorts, cheerleading shoes, and a white bow.

The Avila University Cheerleaders competed at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Nationals in Orlando, Florida. It was a full day of competition. Avila placed 4th after completing a perfect routine in the finals.
