Adam Short |
Adam Short graduated in 2006 from Lake Central High School in St. John, IN. Adam started off his college career at Joliet Junior College where he played for Coach Joe Kuhn. Adam had a successful stint at Joliet which included his team being national runners-up. He was also fortunate enough to win personal accolades including region 4 player of the week twice, first team all conference, and region 4 tournament MVP. After his time at Joliet, Adam became an Avila Eagle where he played for Coach Anthony Hall. During his first year at Avila, Adam was named to Lindenwood University annual tournament all- tournament team as well as second team all-conference. During his senior year at Avila, was named to Metro's sports top five players to watch in the Heartland of America Athletic Conference, Columbia College's Thanksgiving tournament all tourney team, and honorable mention all conference. Adam finished his career at Avila in dramatic fashion by scoring his 1,000 point. Adam is now his taking his passion of the game into coaching. He hopes to learn as much as he can from his mentors Coach Perry and Coach Ingram. Adam graduates from Avila University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in English. |
