Kansas City , MO - The Avila Eagles dominated Tabor College in their match Saturday afternoon. It was a test of whether the Eagles could finish off a game strong and they came out victorious with an 8-0 win. Danielle Higgs led the team with a hat trick. Rachelle Luster, Synthia Padfield, Mollie Brown, and Haley Couture all contributed with one goal each with another goal as an own goal by the Tabor defense.

Five girls got awarded assists this game: Danielle Higgs, Amanda Schwartz, Katie Poulin, Colleen Reagan, and Danielle Price. Goalkeeper Renee Rudder only had to make one simple save the entire game due to a solid defensive performance.

Overall Coach Clements was pleased stating "The showed me they know how to score. We got a lot of positives out of this game". They look to continue this trend against the University of St. Mary on Tuesday at Swope Park . Match is set to start at 6pm.
