UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S SOCCER 2007 SIGNEES
Kelly Koshak
Kelly is a transfer from
Meramec Community College in St. Louis where she played for Coach
Jeff Karl. She is a highly technical player with great composure
around the ball and substantial vision.
Kelly was a team captain
at Meramec and her leadership background will be a major contribution
to Avila 's program.
Kelly will be pursuing a
Business degree at Avila
Katie
Beck
Katie has the unique feature
of being the first player to sign a college Letter of Intent since
DeSoto(Ks.) High School started a Women's Soccer program.
Katie played as a Central
Defender at DeSoto for Coach Darren Erpelding. She has excellent
speed, distributes out of the back and knows the game very well.
Also a team co-captain, her leadership and academic success is well
in line with the type of student athlete Avila 's Soccer Coach Paul
McNally has brought into the program in recent years.
Katie will be entering the
School of Nursing at Avila
Jamie
LeMaster
Jamie comes to Avila after
a highly successful career at Hazelwood Central High School in Florissant
, Mo. , playing for Coach Patrick Rocco. With Jamie playing most
of the time at a Central Midfield position, Hazelwood Central won
District 3 of the Missouri High School playoffs in 2007.
Jamie brings a strong St.
Louis area background to Avila , having played both HS and club
Soccer.
Jamie is looking forward
to pursuing a degree in the School of Education while at Avila
Catherine
McNair
"Cat: comes to Avila with
a strong career in the Johnson County , Ks. Soccer area, having
played 4 years for Shawnee Mission North as well as Coach Mike Whitemore
and the NEU Stars. Another HS team captain, Catherine has been a
major contributor to both her HS and club teams, as either a Defender
or Central Midfielder. She has explosive speed into space with the
ball.
While at Avila , Catherine
will pursue a degree with the School of Nursing .
Katie
Donnelly
A transfer student from Missouri
Baptist University , Katie played her High School Soccer at Bishop
DuBourg HS in south St. Louis. She is an attacking, speedy type
of player who is expected to add an immediate scoring punch for
the Lady Eagles.
Katie will be pursuing a
degree in Education while at Avila .
Katie
Feierabend
A welcome addition to the
Avila roster, Katie is a transfer student from St. Benedicts College
. Originally from Notre Dame de Sion in Kansas City , Mo , Katie
was part of the Sion team which successfully won a District title
when Avila 's Coach McNally also coached at Sion.
Katie brings with her the
unique ability to be the strong goal scorer from distance that Avila
has needed for a long time. She is currently a student at Avila
pursuing a degree in the Dept of Communications.
