Jerry Krause returns for his sixth season as the Avila Unversity golf coach. A lifelong golfer, Krause was a High School State Champion at Rockhurst High School and also a Kansas City Juniors Champion. He has competed in several United States Golf Association Junior and Amateur Tournaments as well. A well-respected member of Kansas City's golfing community, Krause served as the president of both the Kansas City Golf Association and the Blue Hills Country Club. He is a board member of the Missouri Golf Association and is a member of the USGA Sectional Affairs Committee. He makes his home in Kansas City with his wife Carol.
