  Softball Outlook 2009

The Eagles enter the 2009 campaign with six returnees and eleven new faces. The team will have 2 SRS, 2 JRS, 7 SO, and 6 FR. The cumulative record during coach Keel's tenure is 146 wins and 117 losses. His teams has averaged 24 victories per season with the 2005 team winning 30 plus games, the second 30-win season in his tenure.

The roster features seniors: Christina Tracey (Belton, MO.) and Mallory Birnbaum (Kearney, MO). Juniors: Courtney Ryan (Shawnee, KS.) and Lana Dunning (Clinton, MO).

Sophomores: Stephanie Baltzell (Harrisonville, MO.), Sasha Hughes (Carrollton, MO.), Melissa Hurtado (Waco, TX.), Erin Sapp (Blue Springs, MO.), Cortni Mayo (Raymore, MO.), Allison Parker (Clinton, MO.), and Liz Larson (Urbandale, Ia).

Freshman: Emilee Bickleman (Overland Park, KS.), Lindsey Thompson (Kearney, MO.), Jessica Winkelmann (St. Louis, MO.), Meagan Davis (St. Louis, MO.), Jacqueline Miguel (Blue Springs, MO.), and Nicole White (Hillsboro, MO).

This years squad will be young, but will be the foundation for the next few years. We have talent and will attempt to blend the new and experienced players. The Eagles schedule features 39 games and as always a very challenging conference schedule.

They open their season on February 21 at home against Haskell.
