2008 EAGLES

The Eagles enter the 2008 campaign with eleven returners and seven new faces. The team will have 5 senior, 5 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 5 freshman. The cumulative record for the last two seasons is 55 wins - 35 losses, with the 2007 team winning 30+ games (the second 30 win season in Coach Keel's five year tenure).

The roster features seniors: Terra Nichols (Linwood, Ks), Kristi Bredehoeft (Concordia, Mo.), Ashley Talley (Belton, Mo.), Lacey Porter (Armstrong, Mo.), Abbey Grier (Gower, Mo.).

Juniors: Christina Tracey (Belton, Mo), Mallory Birnbaum (Kearney, Mo.), Cortney Elliott (Lawson, Mo.), Dina Juarez (Kansas City, Mo.), Andee Pinson (LaQuinta, Ca.).

Sophomores: Ali Scruggs (Raymore, Mo.), Courtney Ryan (Shawnee, Ks.), Angelique Hilsinger (Grandview, Mo.).

Freshman: Sasha Hughes (Carrollton, Mo.), Liz Larson (Urbandale, Ia.), Allison Parker (Clinton, Mo.), Caitlin Boswell (Overland Park, Ks.), Jennie McGuire (Harrisonville, Mo.).

The lineup will feature an experienced pitching staff (Sr, Jr, Fr), numerous experienced veterans (3 all conference selections), transfers, and first year players. This is not a Young team!  The team has the talent, experience, and heart to be a factor in the conference. The Eagles schedule features eight (8) games against teams ranked in the top 25 of the NAIA or NCAA Division III. The Eagles open their season on February 23rd at home against Mt Mercy. They will travel to Orange, Ca. for their annual

spring break trip.
