Leonard A. Harmon is in his first year as the Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach for the Avila University Men's and Women's Soccer Teams. He served for the past two years in the same position at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe , Pennsylvania . He has additional coaching experience at the youth and high school levels.

Leonard played goalkeeper at the University of Pittsburgh where he was a three-year letterman and captain of the team his senior year. He also was a semi-professional soccer player for five years in Pennsylvania .

Leonard has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh and both a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Seminary) in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . He resides in Lee's Summit , Missouri with his wife Sandee and has two adult children, Ryan and Melissa, and two grandchildren.
