Eric Menees is coming back for his second year as the hitting coach at Avila University. Under the direction of Coach Menees the Avila offense produced 405 runs last year and had a team batting average of .333. Eric played two years for the Eagles at third base. Coach Menees came to Avila via Bakersfield College in 2006. Eric was an exceptional player that gave everything he had to the Avila University Baseball program. He earned all-conference honors and had a career .375 batting average for the Eagles. Avila's hitters have been at the top of the conference and Eric is working hard to keep that tradition alive. Coach Menees is working towards his degree in accounting and will graduate in the Spring of 2010.
