Eric Menees is joining the Eagles coaching staff for the first time this year. Eric played the last two years for the Eagles at third base. Coach Menees came to Avila via Bakersfield College in 2006. Eric was an exceptional player that gave everything he had to the Avila University Baseball program. He earned all-conference honors and had a career .375 batting average for the Eagles. Coach Menees will be the hitting coach this year. Avila's hitters have been at the top of the conference and Eric is working hard to keep that tradition alive. Coach Menees is working towards his degree in accounting and will graduate in the fall of 2009.
