This special weekend offers the opportunity to connect with friends, reflect on your part in the University's 100-year history and celebrate with the Avila community. Items from the University's archives will be on display throughout the weekend that illustrate our proud heritage. Join in our alumni celebration of the heritage of Avila University and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Mass includes a beautiful choral presentation by the Avila University Singers.

Heritage Day Luncheon • Whitfield Center
This annual luncheon honors Heritage Society members who have designated a gift to Avila in their estate plans or have established a named endowed scholarship. Alumnae celebrating their 50-year reunion, as well as other milestone reunion years, will also be recognized. By invitation only. Pre-registration requested.

Avila is proud to welcome back alumnae from the class of 1966, celebrating 50 years since graduation. The class of 1966 reunion booklets will be distributed. Pre-registration requested.

Alumni Centennial Art Exhibition Opening ReceptionThornhill Gallery, Dallavis Center
View original artwork by alumni in many different disciplines, including painting, photography and ceramics. The alumni artists featured in this exhibit graduated as recently as 2015, and as early as 1965. Pre-registration requested. Thornhill Gallery will also be open Saturday and Sunday, 1-4 p.m.

Eagle Madness • Mabee Fieldhouse
Alumni and friends are invited to join students for food, carnival booths, Avila cheer and dance team performances, fun contests and drawings with cash prizes and more! This is a fun, free activity for the entire family.

Avila parents are invited to attend a special dinner theatre just for them. Enjoy a prime rib dinner and the play immediately following for $28. Pre-registration requested.

Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be celebrated in front of their family and friends at this invitation-only breakfast. Pre-registration requested.

Campus Tour • Begin at Foyle Hall
See how campus has changed and learn more about Avila today on this campus tour. Pre-registration requested.

Mission 100 Gathering • Carondelet Activities Room, Carondelet Hall 1st Floor
As we observe 100 years of serving the dear neighbor without distinction, we invite all Mission 100 participants for mid-morning mimosas and story sharing of their service from this year. Pre-registration requested.

Tailgate & BBQ • Thompson Hall and McCarthy Observation Deck
Bring the family to enjoy delicious Jack Stack BBQ and the carnival atmosphere at this year’s tailgate, featuring Dom the Eagle, face painting, a bounce house and more. The $10 admission fee includes the tailgate and game. Children 12 years old and younger are free. Pre-registration requested.

Cheer your Avila Eagles to victory over the William Penn Statesmen. Don’t forget to wear your purple and gold!

Gather with other alumni to rehearse the pieces you’ll be performing at Sunday’s Alumni Mass. Led by Dr. Amity Bryson, chair of the music department.

Join fellow young alumni in Waldo to reconnect and reminisce while celebrating the class of 2006’s 10-year reunion. The $10 registration fee includes appetizers and one drink ticket. Pre-registration requested.
