If you’re looking for a health care administration degree, Avila Advantage’s Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management will sharpen your skills and increase your initiative to keep pace and move ahead with confidence.

The Healthcare Management degree classes can be taken online, on campus, or in blended formats and the class schedule is broken into 8-week and weekend intensive formats beginning several times a year. You can start, pause, and restart the program if and when you need to. The bachelor’s in healthcare administration is a 128-credit hour program, where you will develop:

  • A community and national perspective of the healthcare administration system
  • An understanding of the key laws affecting the Healthcare Management industry
  • The skills to assess and problem-solve using industry research and statistical data
  • The ability to evaluate the healthcare market and strategize solutions to systemic issues that capitalize on market trends

Course Requirements

The course requirements for a bachelor’s in healthcare administration include a base of several core classes all bachelor’s degree students are required to take. The Healthcare Management degree-specific courses include a range of necessary skills, including current healthcare issues, organization of Healthcare Management, legal, marketing, and more.
