  2007 NAIA Scholar Athletes Announced

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced the 2007 recipients of the NAIA Scholar Athlete Awards.

Avila University had 10 athletes of the Fall Season receive that award.  They are:

Brain Berger–Men’s Soccer
Patrick Devero–Men’s Soccer
Josh Loden–Men’s Soccer
Patrick Turk–Men’s Soccer
Lisa Burks–Women’s Soccer
Jill Sells–Women’s Soccer
Brandon Holiwell–Football
Doug Wendel–Football
Brian Kelly–Football
Lauren Miller–Volleyball

NAIA Scholar Athletes must be a junior or above, have a minimum of one year of attendance at a nominating institution, have at least a 3.5 GPA and be certified eligible.
