The Avila University Department of English and the Thornhill Art Gallery will present eclectic readings from the Latinos Writers Collective (Colectivo De Los Autores), on Wednesday, September 26th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Thornhill Art Gallery on the Avila campus. The Latino Writers Collective’s mission is to foster an environment where the voices of Latino students, blue-collar workers, professionals, and homemakers can finally be heard, contributing their experience and vision to the larger Kansas City community. The three guest contributors that will be presenting are Maria Vazquez Boyd, Joe Faus, and Linda Rodriguez. All three are founding members of the Latino Writers Collective.
