Avila University to Host Constitution Day Guest Speaker |

Avila University and the Avila Pre-Law Society present Colin Picker, Daniel L. Brenner UMKC Scholar and professor of law, to speak on the topic of U.S. Constitution in Comparative Perspective on Sept. 18, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the Whitfield Center, as part of Avila’s Constitution Day activities. Picker received his law degree from Yale Law School in 1996, and is a professor of law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Mr. Picker has contributed to and authored numerous publications throughout his career. He also received the 2002-2003 John Minor Wisdom Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Scholarship.
