Avila University is a fully accredited university that was started in 1916.  You are able to choose from over 60 different majors at Avila.  

Undergraduate majors popular with international students include Information Science, International Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, Art, Communication, Psychology and many other majors. 

Graduate majors popular with international students include an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) degree in Finance, General Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, and Marketing as well as graduate degrees in Counseling Psychology and Education.

International Students also may enroll in Avila's ESL program (English as a Second Language).  At Avila, this program is called the Intensive Language and Culture Program.

Avila is located in a nice suburban area of Kansas City.  There is a small shopping mall within walking distance of the campus.   There is also a bus stop at Avila which connects you with different areas in Kansas City.

Avila's campus includes classrooms, dormitories, a library, a cafeteria, a snack bar, a student center with a game room, an art gallery, a TV studio, computer laboratories, a theater, an athletic complex for indoor sports such as basketball and volleyball, and sports fields for outdoor sports such as baseball, softball and soccer.
