Acceptance of a Financial Aid Award Your financial aid award letter will list the types and amounts of financial assistance for which you qualify. Prior to March 15, you will have until April 1 to accept or reject each separate type of assistance on the letter. After March 15, you are asked to accept or reject the offered assis- tance within two weeks of receipt of the award letter. If you are a new student and need more time to consider the offer before May 1, you may call the Financial Aid Office to request an extension. If you do not return the letter or request an extension within this time period, the award may be canceled and the assistance offered to another student. AVILA UNIVERSITY 51
