Any person can submit
nominations for the Avila University Athletic Hall of Fame in writing
to the Athletic Director at any time.
The following
categories for the Avila University Athletic Hall of Fame nominees
shall be accepted for men and women:
Athlete
Minimum two-year letter winner, graduate of Avila, five year time
lapse since the athlete participated in athletics at Avila.
Coach
or Athletic Staff Member
Must have been on the staff for at least five years and must have
a two year time lapse since last serving the University.
Honorary
Must have made exceptional contributions to the Athletic Department.
Team
Eligibility for teams shall be based on outstanding accomplishments
beyond the conference and regional level, with those teams ranking
among the nations elite for that particular year. The teams accomplishments
or contribution to a sport should have been of such high statue
that it was nationally recognized and brought distinct honor to
Avila.
