Office Manager JoAnn Immele enters her 4th year as the athletic department office manager. As office manager, JoAnn assisted with all the administrative functions of the department and is a valuable resource to Eagle athletes and coaches. Prior to moving into athletics, JoAnn served eight years as the Office Manager of the School of Science and Health of Avila University. During her lifetime there, she served the needs of 14 faculty members and coordinated Avila's Annual Math & Science Challenge for young High School women and the Science in the Worlds badge program for Girl Scouts.

She continues the supervision of Girl Scout Badge Day in the Athletics Department with the Sports Sampler badge. This badge is offered each spring with the help of Avila's women's sports teams. In May 2000, she received Avila's Medal of Honor. Away from Avila, Immele is active in the historical preservation and renovation of the Grandview, MO area. She has received special recognition from the Girl Scouts for her work as a Leader and has volunteered her time in other community endeavors such as local sports and school activities.

JoAnn and her husband, Chris reside in Grandview MO, and are the parents of Sarah and Katie.
