KANSAS
CITY, Mo. – Danielle Price, freshman forward from DeSoto,
Kansas, was named Offensive Player of the Week in the Heart
of America Conference. Price scored 4 goals last week including
3 against William Penn University where the Eagles won 5-1
and 1 goal against conference foe Culver-Stockton in which
the Eagles won 3-0.
Danielle
has put together a strong freshman year so far. She has played
in all 13 games, starting 6 of them, scoring 4 goals, adding
1 assist, totaling 9 points.
The Avila
Lady Eagles are now 7-5-1 on the year and 2-1-1 in the Heart
of America Conference. They travel to another HAAC conference
opponent, Graceland University (10-1-2, 4-0), on October 17
th for a 5:00 PM game in Lamoni, Iowa.
