Avila University and The Kansas City Wizards Team Up

The Kansas City Wizards and Avila University Men's and Women's soccer programs are proud to announce a partnership for the 2009-2010 school year. This partnership will provide a game and practice facility that is the best in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Kansas City Wizards' practice facility in Swope Park is a soccer dedicated synthetic field with lights. "I am very excited about the partnership with the Wizards. Having a state-of-the-art facility for both practice and games will help Avila excel on the field and will allow for evening games, keeping our players from missing out on classroom instruction during the day," Coach Clements stated. The Avila Eagles will begin use of the Wizards' facility in August of 2009.
