" Brittany is going to be
a tremendous asset to both Avila University and the Women's
Basketball program. Orrick
has a fine basketball tradition and has certainly developed an outstanding
skill set during her high school career and we are excited about
what she brings to our program. She is a tall guard who handles
the ball well and can attack
defenses on the dribble or
from a distance with her outstanding shooting range. She is an intelligent
player who understands the flow of a game. She wears her heart on
her sleeve and plays the game with tremendous passion and effort.
Brittany loves the game of basketball and competes at a very high
level. She is a wonderful athlete and will help us to continue to
speed the game up and exert pressure on our opponents at both ends
of the floor. We continue to add young ladies of high character
to our program, and Brittany is just that. We are very excited to
welcome her into the AU Women's Basketball family."
