Avila
University Men's Basketball Teams Earns 2 All HAAC Honors
As the Avila University
Men's basketball program prepares for the postseason, 2 members
of the basketball team were honored with All HAAC selections.
Adam Short, junior forward
from Schererville, Indiana, earned 2 nd Team All HAAC. Short led
the Eagles with 576 points averaging over 19 points per game,
3 pointers made (57), and connecting on 107 free throws. Adam
finished the regular season with 17 steals and 91 rebounds.
Justin Lott, senior guard
from Lemoore, California, finished out the Eagle honors with a
3 rd Team All HAAC award. Lott led Avila with 191 rebounds, 50
steals, and 105 assists, while finishing second with 429 points
averaging over 14 per game and 93 free throws.
The Eagle Men finished
the regular season with a 11-19 record and finished 7 th in the
conference with a 7-13 record. They will travel to Central Methodist
and play Thursday at 7:00 PM.
