Head Coach Brittany Stewart started her cheerleading career in Tribune, a small town in western Kansas . Upon graduation she worked three years on UCA Staff and began her coaching career. While attending Coffeyville Community College she assisted the Coffeyville High School in performances, as well as choreographing for many surrounding schools including many in Kansas City . Coach Stewart cheered at Coffeyville for 2 years earning a Small Coed Division 1 UCA National Title. Stewart then chose Avila University seeking her nursing degree. She cheered at Avila for 2 years and was a student assistant for 1. Coach Stewart is now entering her third year of coaching at Avila University with high expectations of expanding the program and earning a national title as a coach not just as a participant.
