Coach Budig begins his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Eagles this year. A native of Fullerton, CA , Budig transferred to Avila from Fullerton Junior College . While at Avila, Budig caught 152 games and was named an NAIA All-American in 2005. Coach Budig has graduated from Avila and has received his teaching credential. Phil will be coaching the catchers and helping with day to day operations of the program. Phil recently married Sarah who is a radiology tech.
