Individual Visit
Individual tours and visits are scheduled Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm, except on Holidays. Please allow 7 days advance notice when scheduling your visit on-line. This provides us with an opportunity to effectively plan your day. If you have questions or would like to visit campus within 7 days, call us at 800/GO.AVILA. Campus visits and tours last approximately 2 ½ hours
Individual visits will include (but are not limited to):
- A guided tour of the university led by a Student Ambassador
- An academic appointment with a professor in your area of interest
- A meeting with an admission staff member to discuss admissions, financial aid requirements, and scholarship opportunities
You may also meet with an athletic coach and/or a performance grant manager.
You will receive a visit confirmation via e-mail once all appointments have been scheduled.
Group Visit
Avila welcomes high schools and other organizations to schedule group visits. If you would like to schedule a group visit (more than two students), please contact the Avila University Office of Admission to speak with the Campus Visit Coordinator directly.
Please Note: Group visits will only include an admission presentation and a tour of the campus. If you would like any other information sessions for your students please be sure to inform the Campus Visit Coordinator to discuss other options.
Open House
View AU Day
View AU Day gives students a chance to visit Avila and attend information sessions and activities with other students who are considering Avila as a place to continue their education. This event also gives students the option to spend the night on campus with a student host.

Overnight Visit
Overnight visits can be scheduled Sunday-Thursday. It gives students an opportunity to spend the night on campus with a current Avila student. After spending the night on campus you will have individual visits with professors and staff the following day.
To schedule an overnight visit you must have your parents consent.
Please allow 3-4 days for an overnight visit to be scheduled.
*Note: Certain scholarships will require students to conduct an interview with the Avila University Learning Services.
